Nagpur’s MIHAN (Multi-Modal International Hub and Airport at Nagpur) continues to attract major investors. In 2025, three new companies — a packaging firm, an electronics component manufacturer, and a food-processing startup — officially began operations in the zone, bringing over 700 new jobs to the city.
The new entrants include PackRight Industries, Vidarbha Circuits Pvt. Ltd., and AgroPure Foods, all of which have invested a combined ₹150 crore in plant setup and equipment. These firms will cater to both domestic and export markets, strengthening Nagpur’s industrial diversification.
MIDC officials confirmed that this development is part of the government’s “Make in Maharashtra” initiative, which offers infrastructure support, tax incentives, and fast-track clearances.
“MIHAN is no longer a future promise — it’s today’s reality,” said MIDC Regional Officer Prakash Mankar.
Industry experts believe this new wave of investment could turn Nagpur into a strategic alternative to Pune and Nashik for manufacturing and logistics in the next five years.
