Dr. Aniket Sarda, once a practicing dentist, is now the founder of The Brew Journal Café, a rapidly growing chain that’s redefining Nagpur’s café culture.

In 2019, while managing his clinic, Aniket noticed the lack of quiet, creative spaces for professionals. He converted part of his clinic building in Dharampeth into a café — a cozy corner with handcrafted brews and bookshelves.

Word spread quickly. Within four years, The Brew Journal expanded to four outlets across Nagpur, employing over 60 staff. The brand’s “Coffee Meets Purpose” model supports local artists and small food brands by showcasing their products in-store.

“Entrepreneurship is like coffee — it’s about the right blend of passion and patience,” says Aniket.

With plans to franchise by 2026, The Brew Journal is positioning itself as Nagpur’s homegrown answer to Starbucks, proof that professional skills can transform into entrepreneurial success with the right mindset.
