With rising awareness about healthy eating, GreenCart is revolutionizing how Nagpurians buy fruits and vegetables. Founded in 2023 by Aditya Mehta and Dr. Sneha More, the app connects urban consumers with verified organic farmers around Katol and Kalmeshwar.

Customers can order fresh produce via app or WhatsApp and receive same-day doorstep delivery. The startup currently works with 40+ farmers and maintains a strict no-chemical policy.

“We wanted to give people clean food and farmers fair prices — it’s a win-win,” says Aditya.

GreenCart also offers subscription plans for families and cafés, ensuring a steady supply chain for both customers and growers. Within six months, the startup has completed over 10,000 deliveries and plans to add dairy and pulses to its portfolio.

Backed by local angel investors and supported by MSME schemes, GreenCart is setting a benchmark for sustainable retail in central India.
